IP EXPO, Europe's number one enterprise IT event series, announces the launch of IP EXPO Nordic, a brand new addition to its series of technology events.

Celebrating the influential start-up culture and vibrant innovation in the way organizations work across the region, the free-to-attend two-day event will take place on the 27-28 September 2016 at the Waterfront Congress Centre in Stockholm, Sweden.

IP EXPO Nordic will bring brand new exclusive content and senior level insights from across the globe, as well as unveiling the latest developments in IT to those who want to drive digital transformation within their businesses.

The event caters to CIOs, IT directors, developers, engineers and managers from large enterprise and public sector organisations. Key themes will include cloud, workforce mobility, cyber security and exclusive access to new infrastructure platforms and technology to derive insight from data.

The event will be divided into 6 areas that reflect the issues affecting IT management teams today; Cloud, Cyber Security, Networks & Infrastructure, Data Analytics, DevOps and Open Source. The experience will include a thought-provoking mix of market-leading technologies, a high profile speaker programme and various panel debates and seminars, exploring the solutions that drive digital transformation across Europe.

Bradley Maule-ffinch, IP EXPO's director of strategy, says:

"The Nordic region is a hothouse of entrepreneurship and home to some of the fastest growing technology companies in the world, including Skype and Spotify. The region has a contagious and exciting culture of early adoption in terms of new tech, start-ups and usage of these technologies at work and home. Stockholm in particular, is investing heavily in the growing need for digital business through projects including Swedish ICT (SICS) and Stokab telecommunications for business."

"It's clear that Sweden is the place to be for European tech – generating over half of the £2bn in tech business coming out of the Nordics each year- and with that in mind, we are very excited to be bringing the insights and successes of the IP EXPO event series to businesses and IT professionals across the Nordic countries. Location and convenience for audiences is vital when planning a live event – face-to-face expert advice and seeing new technolo in action is invaluable. That's why our London and Manchester events are growing rapidly year-on-year."
