Wolfram Research created products such as Wolfram|Alpha, Demonstrations and the core underlying technology—Mathematica.

Interested in how technology and computation can move lives and economies forward and in turn how this affects education, Conrad is a keen promoter of changing the way mathematics is taught in schools, in particular how maths has become almost totally discrepant from its real-world application and in 2010 founded computerbasedmath.org to address this worldwide.
