One week until doors open at IP EXPO Nordic in Stockholm

Friday 23 September 2016

The IT event of the year is getting closer. On the 27th of September the doors will open at IP EXPO Nordic in Stockholm. More than 70 speakers, over 50 exhibitors and a number of exciting panel debates and live hacks are to give the event participants a broad overview of the latest innovations of the entire IT industry.

The future of AI, IoT and the development of cloud are just a few of the topics which will be dealt with when IP EXPO Nordic finally kicks off.

– The interest for the event has been huge. The number of pre-registered participants at this point is bigger than what we usually see for our more established events, such as IP EXPO Manchester. We are expecting a huge turnout for all keynotes and workshops which we are arranging together with our exhibitors and speakers, says Bradley Maule-ffinch, Director of Strategy for IP EXPO Event Series.

Amongst the keynotes are: Ann Hellenius, CIO for Stockholms stad, James Staten, Microsoft’s head of cloud strategy; Otso Juntunen, head of Google Cloud Platform Nordics and the cyber philosopher Alexander Bard. Bard is apart from his keynote also participating in the panel debate “The future of AI” together with representatives from IBM Watson and FurHat Robotics.

– There will be something for everyone, and this we can guarantee. We have gathered many of the world’s leaders within a large number of fields and they will share their vision going forward. The panel debates we have created will be very interesting, for example the one about the ever-actual topic of AI where the panel participants definitely will be coming in with different and interesting perspectives, says Maule-ffinch.

IP EXPO Nordic also arranges a number of live hacks. Amongst other things, the event’s ”open-source security lab” will be open during both days of the event. Security experts  will challenge each other but also share their best tips for how to protect organisations from today’s advanced threats.
